Our story
Lighthouse Partnerships is a values-based, not-for-profit organisation that helps for-purpose organisations reflect, learn and grow. We offer support in monitoring, evaluation and learning, strategy and design, research and analysis, and organisational capacity strengthening. In everything we do, we apply our signature relational, inclusive, and pragmatic approach.
Founded in 2018 by 3 Directors with frontline experience in the refugee and migration sectors, Lighthouse Partnerships was created to meet a clear need for values-aligned, tailored, and sector-specific support. While our origins are in Asia and the Pacific, our team now spans multiple regions across the globe and works across a wide range of social justice issues.
We bring broad experience from working with NGOs, government, academia, and philanthropy - and a strong track record of engaging meaningfully with diverse stakeholders, including communities, frontline staff, boards, donors and partners alike. Our team have worked on the frontlines of social and community services, giving us a grounded understanding of the challenges that NGOs face.
We are committed to working with values-aligned organisations that promote social justice. Our approach includes engaging and investing in people with lived experience—both as members of our team and as paid advisors and contributors to our projects. We also use systems thinking to uncover and address structural inequalities and power dynamics in our work.
While our foundation lies in migration and displacement, today our work spans sectors such as criminal justice, education, disability support, human rights, freedom of expression, legal advocacy, youth engagement, labour rights, community organising, and family and gender-based violence.
